ABOUT THIS E- BOOK
This book would not have been possible without years of saving informational
Links accumulated over the years for my web site which is registered as
OneRateAds.com
My partner in helping to produce this book is Dan Stanton from Medford, Oregon.
I don't consider my self as an expert in the field of model aviation , but I
have paid my dues and
have enjoyed this hobby for over 65 years.
.
My hobby concerning Model Aircraft.
As a youngster in the early 30s . I built my first aircraft
that was simply called ROG. It cost me a whopping .10 cents. It was a tissue
and balsa aircraft that you actually had to Build !! In spite of
my lack of skill THE FURNITURE ATE
IT...
But if flew off the table many times
, and it had really really scary
markings for a kid. The word ARF was not in
our vocabulary at that time. The youngsters of this generation simply cannot appreciate
the advancement of modern materials and technology that exists today.
Few appreciate the instant glues or the easy coverings available at this
time. Even without the ARF kits now available.. that build in hours..
Old memories recall waiting and waiting for the Ambroid glue to dry or
the finishing required to
apply real silk and sealants. Those were the days it took a month to build
a plane and 2 seconds to re-kit it if there were any errors.

ABOUT THIS BOOK
This a unique E-Book on Model Aircraft.
THE HISTORY of THIS E-BOOK This E-Book in actuality is just an
extension of my existing website which is Hobby Links. Only a small
portion of content
which involves model aircraft has been re-organized in a good
navigational order for reading and information.
It makes a great tool for learners and seasoned modelers alike.
Hobby Links is an Online website
consisting of over 33,000 informative links listed in over 125
Individual Directories.
The URL for this website is
www.onerateads.com
The original website was named
WeblinksOnline that was lost to an
unscrupulous firm posing as a registry for domains, and the URL was sold to a
Chinese Company and is still in existence.
Every Link in these websites were posted only with permission and was
free to the original owners. Likewise
information was also posted on the net offering free links and a
chance for any ownership to delete information used here.
The only income derived was an occasional ad placement by some
supporting vendors and commissions derived by Google thru their
ad placement system. There has been no big
profit from this website except to pay for keeping it on the
web.
Were it not a hobby as I am retired .. Hobby Links would not exist.
This book follows the same principal...
as the website ; the
links are all free advertising for those listed. IT is our intent to up date this book annually..
allowing you to have access to all the latest goodies.
Only those seeking to advertise as a paid Sponsor
pay for advertising..
We have some preliminary Advertisers we have listed , but they will be
eliminated if asked or by the next publication date. We have honored
any request to remove information from each publication that uses the
internet as an instrument for viewing .
Instead of focusing on one particular subject, I have combined 19
chapters related to Model Aircraft. You will find tons of Information
and links to aid you in your flying, building , designing and
repairing with the many model tips offered.
This book does not take the place of search engines. It compliments
them by having tons of information on a cd disc for reference.
It also saves a lot of time for answers
The website content is information is updated daily and
pertinent information is being added to the book until it goes into
publication, so you have current information by modelers or vendors
for modelers and vendors.

DAN
STANTON - Medford, Oregon
Dan
and I are the same age. And we are both retired. We met when we were
helping to plank the ark.
When the rains came Noah would not let us
onboard .
I hitched a ride with Jonah and Dan built a sea plane from fish bones.
Dan
now resides in Oregon, while I remain in Florida.
Dan is one of the best builders I have ever met and has far more
technical knowledge about electronics and Engines than my self.
Any time I have a question or problem, I can always depend upon Dan
to give me an honest opinion or an answer to my questions.
He is currently helping to edit this book, and will be the advertising
manager when it goes into publication.
His real love is Float planes and is an asset to this team in his experience
and knowledge. Its a pleasure to have him on board.
